HERNANDO, Fla. — One person was airlifted to the hospital Wednesday afternoon after a rollover crash on Interstate 75 in Hernando County.
It happened just after 2 p.m. on I-75 South in Brooksville, near the Pasco-Hernando county line.
Hernando County Fire Rescue said one person was transported as a trauma-alert patient via medical helicopter. It's not clear what caused the crash or if anyone else was involved.
The road was temporarily closed while the helicopter landed but has since reopened.
