HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — A 50-year-old Spring Hill man was riding on his motorcycle westbound on Spring Hill Drive when he was hit, according to a news release by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was in the inside lane of the road around 4 p.m. on Thursday. That's when troopers say a woman driving a Chevy Colorado merged into the lane, hitting him.
The man died at the scene of the crash from his injuries, Florida Highway Patrol said.
No other information was immediately provided.
