Beach goers have been giving the green light to enjoy Davis Islands Beach this weekend.
The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough has lifted an advisory for the beach after a sampling on June 27 showed the water was at risk to swimmers based on the criteria for enterococci bacteria recommended by the EPA.
The beach was re-sampled on Tuesday, July 5 and was found to be in satisfactory range as recommended by the EPA.
