Hamburger Mary's, which closed its Ybor City location in November after a reported Hepatitis A case, announced Tuesday it is closing its Brandon and St. Petersburg locations.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant said the locations will try to stay open until March 31 "to give Mary’s dedicated staff time to earn some more money and find new jobs."
The post blames the Hillsborough County office of the Florida Health Department, saying the report of the Hepatitis case was false and blaming declining business on "the continuing effects of the slanderous assault on Mary’s good name and that of her employees."
