KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- The beloved and iconic A Christmas Story is set to be recreated in ice during Gaylord Palms' annual ICE! exhibit.
The movie comes to life in the chilly attraction with about a dozen scenes like "The Old Man's Major Award," Aunt Clara's pink nightmare and the triple dog dare at the school flagpole recreated in ice.

The immersive, interactive attraction puts guests wearing giant parkas in a 9-degree room with huge, colored sculptures crafted from more than 2 million pounds of ice by Chinese artists.

Past ICE! events have brought themes like A Charlie Brown Christmas and Christmas around the world to the Kissimmee resort. It's all part of their Christmas at Gaylord Palms event series that also features special dining options, an atrium light show, indoor snow-tubing, carnival games, gingerbread decorating and the theatrical Cirque Dreams Unwrapped.
