JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Florida's first drive-thru only Zaxby's is opening in Northwest Jacksonville Monday.
The fast-casual restaurant chain's first-of-its-kind location in the Sunshine State is located at 9031 New Kings Rd. It is "locally owned and operated by Aaron and Tihesha Mitchell who both grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Andrew Jackson and Williams M. Raines Sr. high schools," a news release states.
In a Facebook post, the location says the "first 100 guests who purchase a meal either through the drive-thru or walk-up, will enjoy FREE FOOD FOR A YEAR! 🌟🍔."
Furthermore, the post states that the offer is "limited to one per guest," and you must be 16 or older to participate.
Looking to be one of 100 to win free food? Well, act fast! The location made a separate Facebook post around 10 p.m. on Sunday to note that folks are already lined up to take advantage of the offer.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Zaxby's has more than 950 locations in 17 states, according to its website. The location in Jacksonville's Dinsmore area is among approximately 23 Northeast Florida locations ― most in Jacksonville, but also some in Baker, Clay, Nassau and St. Johns counties, the website also shows.
The New Kings Road location will open at 10:30 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. every day.
