ORLANDO, Fla. - Park organizers at Walt Disney World announced Sunday the new "Star Wars"-themed hotel will connect to Hollywood Studios.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Bob Chapek made the announcement at the D23 Expo Japan.
“From the second you arrive, you will become a part of a 'Star Wars' story," Chapek said in a news release. "You’ll immediately become a citizen of the galaxy and experience all that entails, including dressing up in the proper attire."
The hotel will connect to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which is set to open in 2019.
The Star Wars land will feature two major attractions. One will make guests feel like they're in the hangar of the Star Destroyer. The other will have guests in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.
