PARKLAND, Fla. – Teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School protested Tuesday morning in support of their colleagues who the district has reassigned.
WPEC reports Broward County Public Schools reassigned three school principals and a school security specialist Monday at a Marjory Stoneman Douglas Public Safety Commission meeting.
The teachers claim this is not the kind of change they need in the middle of the school year, CBS Miami reported. They claim the new administrators won’t understand what the school is going through since the deadly Valentine’s Day shooting.

On Tuesday morning, students also walked out of the school.
The suspected gunman, Nikolas Cruz, is due in court Tuesday.
