MIAMI, Fla. -- A Miami-Dade County charter school teacher is accused of professing her love to a 13-year-old student.
According to CBS Miami, Andrea Jimenez, 47, allegedly sent texts to the boy, saying she wanted to be intimate with him. Police told the CBS station that Jimenez bought gifts for him, including electronics and clothes.
Jiminez reportedly grabbed the child's face and tried to kiss him, according to law enforcement.
CBS Miami reports investigators alleged she sent a message that said: “I will go to hell for u. Die for u stop eating to feed you. My love for u is so real and huge!!! I don’t mind facing the devil himself for u."
Jiminez is now charged with lewd and lascivious assault on a child.
