Tampa, Florida -- Hello there, Enzi!
Following a Facebook poll where nearly 2,000 votes were submitted, Busch Gardens Tampa announced Monday that fans have chosen "Enzi" as the name for the park's one-month-old baby gorilla.
Enzi means "power" in Swahili.
The baby male gorilla was born on Dec. 16 at Busch Gardens to 12-year-old endangered western lowland gorilla, Pele. Both Pele and baby, along with Busch Gardens' other gorillas, can be seen in the Myombe Reserve habitat at select times throughout the day.
Meanwhile, it looks like Enzi won't be the only new kid on the block at Busch Gardens. Another of the park's western lowland gorillas, Mary, is expected to give birth some time in March.
