Bradenton, Florida -- The arrest report of a man accused of murdering three people in Manatee County reveals the brutality of the act.
Andy Avalos is currently being held without bond for the murder of his wife Amber, as well as Denise Potter and Bayshore Baptist Church pastor James "Tripp" Battle. Avalos was arrested Saturday following an intense manhunt.
Avalos' arrest report says his wife and mother of his six children was found "suspended from a cord with severe trauma to the face and a gunshot wound to the chest."
Also, Avalos showed up at the church office and spoke to the pastor's wife where "the defendant was rambling on about how the world was evil."
Pastor Battle showed up and Avalos exited the office, and then allegedly shot him in the courtyard.
Deputies say they believe it was a crime of passion.
