ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A 7-year-old St. Johns County girl who was found Tuesday after being reported missing has died in the hospital, officials said.
Adalyn Laymon was originally reported missing Tuesday around 1 p.m. She had last been seen on Cody Street near St. Augustine. The sheriff's office said she was a non-verbal child with autism.
Life-saving measures were used by first responders on scene and again at the hospital where she was transported.
It was reported just after 4:30 p.m. that she had passed away.
St. Johns County deputies say no foul play is suspected in Adalyn's death.
