Pinellas County, Florida -- Crime Stoppers of Pinellas County is asking for the public's help in locating a fugitive from Michigan.
According to U.S. Marshals, Vincent Lee Purtha is a convicted sex offender who is wanted by authorities in Michigan for a Sexual Assault charge against a minor, parole violation, and failure to register as a sex offender. Purtha has a lengthy, violent criminal history and has been a fugitive since December of 2011.
Prior to fleeing Michigan, he was working as a tattoo and sketch artist, and he had experience in the construction field.
Purtha is a 48-year-old white male, with blue eyes and brown hair. He stands 5'7" tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He is known to have tattoos on the upper part of both arms, his back and right calf.
