Anyone planning on driving across the Courtney Campbell Causeway into Clearwater will come across a significant slowdown following a crash.
Officers with the Tampa Police Department responded to the westbound lanes of the bridge at 2:22 p.m.
According to the agency, a man was found with minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
"Westbound Courtney Campbell Causeway is temporarily closed," the police department said in a news release. "However, traffic is being diverted to a nearby access road."
Drivers are being asked to find a different route.
