WASHINGTON (AP)-- Nineteen conservative groups are renewing a boycott of Ford Motor Company because the automaker runs ads in gay publications.A group called the American Family Association says Ford reneged on an agreement to stop supporting gay rights organizations. The boycott was suspended six months at the request of Ford dealers.Ford says it is "proud of its tradition of treating all with respect."The association says Ford has the right to support groups promoting gay marriage, and consumers have the right not to buy Ford products.A gay rights spokesman says attempts to reject acceptance and fairness are out of step with American values.
