TAMPA, Fla. — A crewmember aboard the Serenade of the Seas on Thursday was airlifted off the ship near Tampa, according to the Coast Guard.
Crewmembers told rescue crews the 34-year-old was suffering from abdominal pain while the ship was 80 miles west of Tampa.
The man was medevaced to Tampa General Hospital in stable condition, according to the St. Petersburg sector of the Coast Guard.
