IRVING, Texas — A team of employees with the City of Irving was able to rescue a kitten from a storm drain on Tuesday.
According to a Facebook post from the city, employee Jose Rodriquez called together a team of coworkers to help save the kitten who was trapped in the storm drain near Shady Grove and Belt Line.
After successfully and safely removing the kitten from the storm drain, the city workers were able to turn it over to Irving Animal Services.
The City of Irving made sure to say thank you to its employees for going above and beyond for all of its community's needs.
