Their boat capsized on Sunday night.

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla — Coast Guard crews rescued two children and three adults after their boat capsized on Sunday night.

Sea Tow Crystal River dispatch contacted Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg watchstanders at 6 p.m. and said five people needed help 10 miles west of Crystal River, according to a news release from the Coast Guard

A boat and helicopter crew spotted the people clinging onto their boat at about 8 p.m. The boat crew recovered and transported them to Pete's Pier Marina to get medical care.

"Our crews were able to conduct the rescue safely and efficiently with the best possible results," said Lt.
