TAMPA, Fla. — If you're a fan of a fantasy-class cruise ship, we have some good news for you – Carnival Paradise officially returned to service Monday in Tampa.
The ship went through a refurbishment project that brought in upgrades to spaces like the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat and the ship’s casino. These changes came along as part of a 16-day dry dock that happened in Freeport, Bahamas.
Cruisers stepping foot onto the 2,124-guest ship for a voyage will get to see the new additions throughout the boat.
And it's not only the Serenity Retreat that got a makeover – the popular Piano bar looks brand new along with the casino being expanded and other public areas getting a refresh.

"The ship’s current 6-day sailing are set to visit Key West, Fla., Montego Bay, Jamaica and Grand Cayman," cruise line leaders explain in a statement. "The ship sails four-, five- and six-day cruises from her homeport of Tampa."
