The Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa is also offering a hurricane camp on Tuesday, Oct. 15 in response to school closures. The single-day camp will be for children in grades K-5 and registration is $75 per child.
The camp is from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and parents can register here.
“As schools work to reopen, we know that families need options to keep their children active and engaged in learning,” said Sarah Cole, president and CEO of Glazer Children’s Museum. “When we received news a few hours ago that Hillsborough County Public Schools would be closed again tomorrow, we felt compelled to offer support to those families through the healing power of play.”
