Largo, Florida -- Attacked at the spa.
A victim of a violent beating speaks out after being told the person responsible may never face a judge.
Digging deeper tonight in to why the suspect of this horrible crime could be days from being released.
"I'm still healing," says Lilian Palacios, owner of the Essentials Retreat Spa in Largo.
It's been ten days since Liliana Palacios was attacked in her parking lot.
"She approached me very quick," says Palacios.
The person not only beat Liliana up.
"She was pointing something under her hoodie," says Palacios.
But the suspect even tasered her.
"It was so quick," says Palacios.
Palacios says the person responsible is Kayla Thompson who police caught just hours later and is now behind bars facing charges of robbery with a weapon.
"She was on top of me. I pulled off her mask and she said you did this to me," says Palacios.
Palacios says Thompson once worked for her and believes this was revenge for letting her go.
"I said, 'I know she did it," says Palacios.
But now while Palacios recovers, she says she was recently hit even harder when the State Attorney's office called saying there may not be any evidence to charge Thompson.
"We're just afraid she will get out," says Palacios.

With so much evidence the family was worried she may never be charged, 10 News called the State Attorney's office and it said no decision had yet been made. But, a few hours later the family found out this is going to trial.
