Tampa, Florida -- A judge signed off on the death penalty for the 2010 murder of 20-year-old Derek Anderson Friday morning.

A Hillsborough County jury found Dontae Morris guilty back in July of first-degree murder. The panel reconvened this morning to recommend a second life sentence for Morris or a third death sentence. The jury voted 10-2 in favor of the death penalty.

Morris is already on death row for the 2010 murders of Tampa Police officers David Curtis and Jeffrey Kocab.

In all, Morris has been convicted of killing four murders, and sentenced to three death penalties and a life sentence. He still has to go on trial for murder of a fifth man.
