Allegiant announces new routes from Tampa area airports

The routes launch in November and will fly to and from locations across the U.S.

Allegiant Travel Company announces new flight routes for St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.

TAMPA, Fla. — Allegiant announced eight new routes that will take Florida residents across the country for as low as $39.

The commercial airline will be using St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) to fly to and from Savannah, Georgia, through Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), beginning Nov. 15, 2024. Across Florida, people can also fly to Savannah from Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) starting Nov. 15 and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) beginning Nov. 14. 

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) will also host Allegiant flights beginning Nov. 23, 2024, to and from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, through the Portsmouth International Airport at Pease (PSM). One-way tickets are priced as low as $69.

"The addition of new routes is a testament to the success of our existing service in these communities," Allegiant chief revenue officer Drew Wells said in a statement. "Our network planning team is responsive to consumer demand, constantly looking for opportunities to enhance the leisure travel experience. The new service kicks off just in time to plan warm winter getaways to sought-after coastal destinations."

Travelers can also fly to and from Melbourne, Florida, to Cincinnati, Ohio, via the Melbourne Orlando International Airport (MLB) and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) beginning Nov. 15, 2024, for as low as $49 for a one-way ticket.

The Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) now includes routes to Grand Rapids, Michigan, via the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) beginning Nov. 14, 2024, with one-way trips starting at $69.

FLL will host Allegiant flights to and from Newburgh, New York, through the New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) beginning Nov. 15, 2024, starting at $69.

Those looking to visit Flint, Michigan, can now go through the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) and fly to the Flint Bishop International Airport (FNT) beginning Nov. 15, 2024, with prices starting at $59.
