TAMPA, Florida -- Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews are investigating a deadly fire at a Tampa home Monday afternoon.
When fire crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the home on Burkett Circle.
Due to the severity of the fire, the crews initially fought the fire from the exterior and shortly after were able move inside.
While fighting the fire, firefighters found the bodies of two adults inside.
The fire eventually contained with minimal damage to the exposures.
HCFR does not have any additional information on the cause of the fire or the identity of the victims.
