BELLEAIR, Fla. — A former pool contractor is facing fraud charges.

Last week, Pinellas County deputies arrested Jordan Hidalgo on a warrant issued by Pinellas County Consumer Protection Services.

According to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Hidalgo had already given up his license to build pools. He had several companies based in Pinellas including A to Z Gulfcoast Services, 30 Day Pools, Modern Pools, Pinellas Construction Services and Pools by Jordan.

We're told Pinellas County Consumer Protection is involved in an active criminal investigation and won't be able to give us any further details on the charges.

According to Pinellas County Court records, Hidalgo is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 16 on the two felony charges.
