TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. — A 27-year-old man on work release had sex with a 16-year-old co-worker, and he had her drive him back to the work release facility when they were done, Pasco County deputies said.
According to affidavits, Joel Morisma met the girl while he was working at Dimitri's Restaurant in Tarpon Springs between Jan 10 and Feb. 27. They knew each other's ages, deputies said.
They had sex in her car in the restaurant's parking lot during the weekend of Feb. 1-3, according to affidavits, and afterward she would drive him back to the work-release facility. He also wanted her to pick him up after he was through with work release on March 14.
Morisma asked other work-release inmates at the restaurant to lie for him, telling them to say he was working late, deputies said.
He was charged with four counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and is being held without bail.
