Tampa, Florida -- The area's only outdoor ice skating rink opened Friday at Curtis Hixon Park in downtown Tampa.
The rink is open daily -- except Thanksgiving -- until Jan. 3, 2016.
The hours are:
Monday -Thursday: 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Friday: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 9 p.m.
Skating is still only $12 and includes skates.
There are concessions are available to purchase.
