Several videos capture what looks like a funnel cloud forming over New Orleans.
Heavy storms are hitting the north and south shores this afternoon and one of them brought an apparent funnel cloud to New Orleans.
A series of severe thunderstorm warnings and flood warnings have been issued for several parishes in the Greater New Orleans Area as a line of strong thunderstorms moves into the area.
The storms are bringing wind gusts greater than 60 mph along with hundreds of lightning strikes and the potential for hail and flooding rain.
