BRADENTON, Fla. -- If you see a man sporting Paul Hogan's iconic "Crocodile Dundee" hat, then contact Manatee County Sheriff's Office because it was stolen from a Bradenton man.
Byron Mcilwaine, 56, told deputies that a member of the homeless community with whom he had a previous violent run-in had snatched the hat off his head.
The suspect told the victim that he was going to keep the hat for himself. Deputies said that Mcilwaine did not retaliate, but walked away from the suspect.
The suspect is described as 175 lbs with brown hair and possibly wearing the "Crocodile Dundee-style" hat.
