PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — A 43-year-old homeless man mooned a deputy, then headed into the woods and had a beer, Charlotte County sheriff's deputies said.
According to an affidavit, shortly after 7 p.m. Monday, a deputy was performing a traffic stop in Port Charlotte when he said Brian K. Arrigo approached the patrol car.
When Arrigo ran toward the patrol car, the deputy said he warned him about the dangers that officers face and that running toward one is a bad idea. The deputy said Arrigo said he understood and kept walking.
Then Arrigo dropped his shorts and lifted up his shirt, showing the deputy his buttocks, the affidavit said. Then he pulled his shorts back up and walked toward a wooded area, the deputy said.
After finishing the traffic stop, the deputy tracked down Arrigo, who was sitting at the edge of the woods with a 32-ounce can of Miller High Life beer in a paper sack.
Arrigo was charged with possessing an open container and exposing sexual organs.
According to the Bradenton Herald, Arrigo was released on his own recognizance Tuesday.
