KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Things are about to get slimier in the Sunshine State.
Paramount Pictures, Lion Star Hospitality and Teramir Group's Everest Place have announced a partnership to open Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando.
The new vacation destination will be 220 acres and is set to be located at the Everest Place complex in Kissimmee, according to a news release.
According to the Lion Star Hospitality website, the resort will feature 423 hotel suites, four restaurants, a bar, pool, a fitness center, a Nick shop and more.
Guests can immerse themselves in some of Nickelodeon's most popular franchises such as "SpongeBob SquarePants," "PAW Patrol" and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
The resort will have themed dining options such as Le Spatula, named after Spongebob's spatula and Mikey's Pizzeria, after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' favorite food.
There will also be character meet and greets and a place to get slimed.
“As the exclusive U.S. licensee for Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Lion Star Hospitality Inc. is committed to elevating this venture to new heights, ensuring that families and Nickelodeon enthusiasts alike enjoy the Slime of their life,” Mario Mathieu, SVP Business Development, Design and Construction, Karisma Hotels & Resorts, said in the release.
If a vacation isn't good enough to satisfy your childhood nostalgia, the resort is also reportedly offering condos that you can buy, with studio to two-bedroom options. Condo owners will have access to all resort amenities.
Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando's 2026 opening date will come a decade after the original Nickelodeon Suites Resort in Orlando closed its doors. It is now the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites - Waterpark.
