ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — You can help kids and teachers get off to a great school year by donating school supplies. Just purchase a few extra items (pens, pencils, paper) and donate them at Achieva branch locations in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco counties.
Collection boxes will be in place until Aug. 1.
Achieva Credit Union was founded in 1937 by a group of dedicated teachers. Since then, the credit union has continued to champion and support educational opportunities throughout its communities. Over the years, Achieva's community events have garnered widespread recognition, raising more than $405,000 to support local schools.
In addition to financial support, Achieva Credit Union's employees contribute countless hours of volunteer work and resources to help educators and students succeed.

On Friday, Aug. 2, 10 Tampa Bay will be hosting school supply drop-off events in both Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. Help us “Stuff the Bus” at the Staples in Largo (Largo Mall - 13013 Seminole Boulevard) or at the Staples in Tampa (3702 W. Spruce Street).
Come say “hi” to some of our on-air personalities and receive a gift for donating. You can donate school supplies from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at both locations.
10 Tampa Bay and Achieva are working with the Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco Education Foundations. School supplies donated at any of these events will go to help teachers and students in the local county.
