We’re excited to announce Azalea Middle School in Pinellas County is our 10News School the Week powered by Duke Energy Florida.
How about a round of applause for the students, staff and families? Last year, the school raised its letter grade from an “F” to a “C”.
An achievement like that takes the whole Azalea Middle village. The opportunities are vast for the students. If they’re into technology, they can pursue a class in engineering, robotics or even a drone academy. If performing arts are more their style, the school offers chorus, band, music theory and a rockin’ drumline.
Students looking for a little more structure and wanting to join a small community within the school can choose to participate in the Cadet Corps. With all these things to brag about, it’s easy to see why it’s our 10News School of the Week powered by Duke Energy Florida.
