WINTER HAVEN, Fla. — Police are looking for the suspect who stabbed and killed a 26-year-old woman on Friday night.
Just before midnight on Friday, Winter Haven police responded to a call involving a stabbing behind the old Banyan Beach Motel in Winter Haven. A witness said the woman was involved in an argument with an unknown man, and he hit her multiple times, according to a news release.
The woman screamed and the suspect fled southbound. The victim was transported to the hospital where she died, police said.
