TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police and the FBI are asking for the public's help to find the suspect in a bank robbery from Tuesday afternoon.
In a news release from TPD, the incident happened around 2:39 p.m. at the Grow Financial Credit Union in the area of North Oregon Avenue and West Main Street.
Police said they received a report of a woman demanding money from the teller. They added they do not believe she was armed at the time.
The suspect was reportedly last seen on a bike headed northbound on North Oregon Avenue wearing a white baseball cap with red detailing, white jacket, light-colored shirt, light-colored shorts, white shoes and a multi-colored backpack.
TPD and the FBI say they are now working to find the woman and bring her into custody.
