WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrested a man accused of shooting and killing another man and woman over the weekend in West Palm Beach.
According to the agency's Facebook, deputies responded to reports of a shooting at 8:36 a.m. on Saturday in the area of Summit Run Circle.
Once on scene, authorities reportedly found the two people dead from gunshot wounds. They also were able to determine a person of interest.
He has since been identified as Sony Josaphat and now faces two counts of first-degree murder.
"After a thorough investigation into this weekend's double homicide, our detectives have interviewed and arrested the 'person of interest,'" a Facebook post from the agency explains.
Josaphat was taken into custody and is being held on no bond.
"It's pretty quiet and we don’t have too many things over here, so I don't know how this happened," a neighbor told WPTV.
