TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man injured.
TPD says it happened at about 6:20 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Cayuga Street East where there were reports of shots fired.
When police arrived, they found the man with non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is said to be stable.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, however, police are reminding the public that there are no threats to the community.
