TAMPA, Fla. — A fire gutted a workshop attached to a house Thursday morning.
The Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to multiple calls around 3:45 a.m. from individuals reporting a large fire near a home on Crystal Brook Drive, according to a news release from the fire rescue.
Heavy flames were rising as high as 50 feet into the trees as crews quickly hosed the blaze down to limit the effect on the house, fire rescue said.
There were no occupants and there were no injuries to the first responders. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
