TAMPA, Fla. — An investigation is underway into a shooting in the North Tampa neighborhood after a man died from his injuries.
Officers responded around 1 p.m. Monday to the area of East Poinsettia Avenue and North 10th Street, according to a Tampa Police Department news release.
When they arrived, officials said the man was found with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Investigators are working to figure out what led to the shooting, the department said.
