TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department is searching for a man who robbed a Circle K on North Florida Avenue back in August, the department said in a news release.
The robbery happened around 5 a.m. on Aug. 25, according to officers. In surveillance video, the man can be seen standing at the counter before pulling out a gun and demanding money from the cashier.
The man then takes a wad of cash from the employee before leaving the store on a bicycle east of Giddens Avenue. Tampa police said no injuries occurred during the robbery.
Detectives say the man was last seen wearing a baseball hat, dark hoodie and denim jeans while carrying a dark-colored drawstring bag.
