Now, officers are looking for the driver who was allegedly racing Charles Williams IV in a black SUV before the deadly crash.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A 22-year-old St. Pete man is charged with killing another driver while street racing last Wednesday, Sept. 11, the St. Petersburg Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Charles Williams IV is being charged with vehicular homicide after officers said he was racing his Infinity Q6 against a black SUV (circled) before crashing into 52-year-old Corey Koeppen's Ford Ranger on 1st Avenue South at 51st Street South.

Koeppen was reportedly thrown from his car and died at the scene. Williams was taken to Orlando Health Bayfront with serious injuries but was later released, according to the department.
