ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Four people were taken to the hospital after a shooting in South St. Pete late at night on Easter Sunday, according to a news release.
Officer responded to a call reporting shots fired among a big group of people gathered outside near Sonic Sports Bar and Lounge on 49th Street South, the St. Pete Police Department said.
Witnesses told 10 Tampa Bay that a block party had been going on throughout the entire day.
Investigators said they believe a group of men got into an argument when they started shooting at each other. Three men in their 20s and a 17-year-old girl received treatment at a hospital for their injuries. Three of the victims were released overnight. One victim remains in the hospital with a foot injury.
As of Monday morning, no suspects had been identified by police.
