PALM HARBOR, Fla. — A Palm Harbor man arrested on several child pornography charges is now accused of sexual battery, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office deputies said.
Twenty-nine-year-old Karl George III was originally arrested on Thursday, May 16 after an investigation revealed he allegedly possessed several videos of children between the ages of 5 and 11 years old.
Now, George is accused of sexually battering an unconscious woman and recording the assault in October 2022, deputies said in a news release.
The sheriff's office said George is being charged with sexual battery (physically helpless) and video voyeurism.
The suspect is still being held in the Pinellas County Jail, according to deputies. He is also charged with one count of sexual activity involving animals.
