Clearwater, Florida -- Clearwater Police conducted a two day sweep that resulted in the arrest of seven people and the seizure of about $17,000 worth of crack cocaine.
Search warrants were served at four different homes on Madison Streent, Pennsylvania Avenue, Bently Street and Arden Avenue. Seven guns, three vehicles, marijuana and cash were seized in addition to the cocaine.
"Getting these guns out of the hands of criminals and getting these drugs off the streets is a huge deal," said Clearwater Police Chief Tony Holloway. "We want these drug dealers to know that we're watching them, and we're coming for them.
Marquis Bass, Freddie Patterson, Jamayn Johnson, Daryl Dixon, Eric Riles, Fatini Morad, and Willie Daniels were all arrested and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
