HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A South Florida mother is being charged with child neglect after she was accused of leaving her child inside a hot car in Hollywood, according to a news release from the Hollywood Police Department.

Police said 34-year-old Anastasiya Motalava left her child in the hot car on Sunday at a Walmart parking lot on South State Road 7.

Once officers arrived, fire rescue was reportedly on scene and helped the child out of the car
