HUDSON, Fla. — Pasco County Sheriff's Deputies found human remains that they think might be the family of four who they have been searching for.
Deputies said in a Facebook post that they are looking for Rain Mancini, 26; Phillip Zilliot II, 25; Karma Zilliot, 6; and Phillip Zilliot III, 5. They were last seen around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday in the area of Nottingham Trail in Hudson.
At a news conference on Saturday afternoon, Sheriff Chris Nocco said the family was at Rory Atwood's house the night they went missing. He said the adults were drinking and then got into an argument. Later, Atwood, 25, called a friend and said he shot someone, according to deputies.
Nocco said they received third and fourth source information about Atwood killing a person, which led them to go to his property. Atwood let detectives onto his property where they found human remains.
Nocco said they haven't identified the remains yet and are unsure how many bodies are on the property. He said this will remain a missing persons case until everyone is identified.
Atwood was charged with first-degree homicide.
Nocco stressed the importance of the public's help in solving this ongoing case. He said they believe the children may be on the property dead, but they can't confirm yet.
Here is a physical description of what the family members look like:
- Rain Mancini: 5'7, around 270 lbs. with auburn hair and brown eyes
- Phillip Zilliot II: 5'10, around 238 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes
- Karma Zilliot: 3'6, around 65 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes
