KENNETH CITY, Fla. — A Kenneth City man, angered after walking in on his girlfriend having sex with another woman, threatened her life and forced her to perform sex acts, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.
According to affidavits, on Jan. 19, William Edward Hardy, 48, returned home and found the women having sex. He was holding a handgun and ordered the other woman to leave, telling her if she didn't, he was going to "put two bullets" in her head.
After the woman left, Hardy allegedly told his girlfriend he was going to "shoot her in the (expletive) head."
He then told her to perform a sex act on him, but she refued. He then ripped her clothes off and forced her to perform sex acts.
He was arrested Wednesday and charged with battery, sexual battery, aggravated assault - domestic, and aggravated assault. Bail was set at $350,000, and he remains at the Pinellas County Jail.
Hardy and the victim have been dating for six years and have a child together, deputies said.
