ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A local sports broadcaster was arrested Wednesday after deputies say he solicited a 14-year-old boy.

Justin Pawlowski, 37, faces charges of unlawful use of a two-way communication device, use of computer services to solicit a minor and transmission of harmful material to a minor.

An arrest warrant was issued out of Hillsborough County and Pawlowski was arrested at his St. Petersburg home.

Law enforcement said Pawlowski sent a picture of his genitals to "what he believed to be a 14-year-old boy." Pawlowski also expressed interest in meeting with the teen and suggested he "was interested in engaging in sexual acts," according to police.

No other details were released from law enforcement as of Thursday morning.

Pawlowski began his sports broadcasting career while at the University of South Florida, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Most recently, he produced the Bucs Uncensored podcast airing on JoeBucsFan.com.

JoeBucsFan.com posted Wednesday saying, "A longtime friend and contributor here was arrested on felony charges that, if true, are deplorable."

The site said it never paid Pawlowski for his podcast and that Pawlowski has not worked for the website since 2011.
