A license plate reading 'WILL RUN' was taken from a motorcycle that fled from a traffic stop, filmed from a sheriff's office helicopter.

SANFORD, Fla. — A teen motorcyclist was arrested after deputies said he took off during a traffic stop – the license plate reading "WILL RUN" shrinking in the distance as he ran red lights and through oncoming traffic through intersections, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

Body-worn camera video shows a deputy exit his squad car and approach two motorcycles, immediately reaching for the rider who quickly drives off before the deputy is about to grab a hold of them.

Ashtin Jarvis, 19, "taunted and fled" from authorities, the sheriff's office said. Law enforcement decided against engaging in a chase, they said in the interest of keeping others on the road safe along U.S. Highway 92

The Volusia County Sheriff's Office instead called in its helicopter to keep an eye on the motorcyclist from above and track his location.

The rider eventually got onto Interstate 4 westbound toward Orlando, where officials said the motorcycle reached 145 mph.

About an hour later, the motorcyclist came to a stop near a squad car, with several other units following closely behind, and was taken into custody.

"Oh man was that sh*t fun?" one deputy is heard asking in body camera video.

"No, not really," the rider responded.

After getting a closer look at the license plate that said "WILL RUN," officials said they determined it was not a legal plate. Jarvis was charged with fleeing at high speed, reckless driving and possession of a counterfeit license plate. He also was cited for several traffic violations.
