MARTIN COUNTY, Fla. — A half-naked man crashed through a Florida jail lobby before throwing rubber snakes on the floor.

Joseph Leedy, 40, crashed a Toyota through the Martin County Jail lobby on Monday night. After he destroyed the entrance, he got out of the car wearing a lady's blouse and no pants. He poured motor oil on the lobby floor and said he wanted to light it on fire, according to a post by the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said he expressed his desire to “kill everyone” while he threw rubber snakes on the floor and fought with law enforcement and fire rescue personnel.

Leedy caused thousands of dollars in damage but wasn't able to breach the steel doors. Nobody was in the lobby at the time of the crash.

He was restrained and taken to the hospital where he was still uncooperative until he was booked into jail and charged with four counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and criminal mischief of over $1,000.
